SIX EIGHT KAFE
Trendy Temple Row coffee bar, Six Eight Kafe is another must-see independent in the city centre. Famed for its relaxed vibe, cool events and outstanding Jailbreak Mark 3 seasonal coffee blend, this is no ordinary coffee shop and truly lives up to its aim of playing a part in Birmingham’s coffee revolution.
Owner and founder Devinder and his team are madly passionate about what they are creating at Six Eight Kafe, taking inspiration from the booming coffee scene across European cities. Having opened its doors in January this year, the shop has grown to become a hub of all things creative, supporting local artists including the latest work by Lisa Double You that are displayed throughout the shop, and by holding regular events such as ‘Birmingham Loves Photographers’ that allow the creative community to come together to share ideas or just have a bit of a natter.
In true collaborative style, Six Eight Kafe also supports a number of other independent retailers in the area, including Great Western Arcade delicatessen, Anderson & Hill that provide tasty ciabattas for the lunchtime rush.
Make sure to take a look at the Six Eight Kafe blog for more info and to find out what’s coming up. And make certain that you pop in when you’re around, you don’t know what you’re missing!
