Getting your party make-up just right is an essential part of the festive preparations – too little and you’ll simply blend into the background. Too much and you may as well audition for the role of Widow Twanky.

So to ensure you look your best for the fast-approaching social season, House of Fraser hosts a Prepare To Party event in store tomorrow (Thursday November 19). Thoughout the ground floor there will be a host of cosmetic events with advice and top tips on create show-stopping looks.

Mugler will be holding fragrance workshops from 11.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-2.30pm while Dior’s make-up artist Habeeb will be hosting sessions from the main stage area from 5pm.

Offers during the event will include spend £50 and receive a £5 off fragrance vouchers as well as selected disounts on eveningwear on the second and third floors.
