One of Birmingham’s most stylish bars has unveiled a stunning new private booth area … perfect for a night of pure glamour.

Featuring sumptuous white leather and glittering mirrored walls, Mechu looked stateside for inspiration, bringing LA chic to Birmingham and giving guests the chance to relax and enjoy a luxurious night out.

Keith Williams, from the Summer Row bar, grill and club, said: “Socialising in a booth may appear to be the height of decadence but for our shrewd customers it can be an incredibly cost-effective way of socialising as well as offering an unforgettable experience.”

“They can sip Champagne served by their own bar butler, while custom-designed illuminated ice-bucket tables mean no waiting at the bar. Whatever your tipple, you can split the cost of your drinks among the group, and add to that the VIP status and you benefit from the best night out in the city.”

Mechu Champagne Bar joins the ranks of some of the globes most famous VIP venues including the legendary Bungalow 8 in New York, Movida in London and Byblos in St Tropez. Big spenders can indulge in a £3,500 Jeroboam of Dom Perignon Vintage champagne – Mechu is one of the only clubs outside London to offer the gargantuan serving, which can fill over 24 glasses of bubbly.

Guests will be able to relax in luxury in one of these booths that are available to reserve and each one is named after a Grande Marque champagne house.
