Britain’s best loved fashion expert and style guru Gok Wan is back in the city next month to film his fabulous Channel 4 show How to Look Good Naked.

Fashion’s fairy godfather will be at Bullring on Wednesday February 10 and Friday February 12, from 12.30pm. He’ll be joined by his ‘Gokettes’ and camera crew to re-style, inspire and get up close and personal with six lucky make-over candidates.

As the popular programme returns for its fifth series, Birmingham’s major mall has been chosen as one of the shopping centres for filming the famous reveal scene, highlighting the centre’s reputation as one of the most stylish fashion destinations in the UK.

Visitors to Bullring have a chance to experience the lights, cameras and action as Gok is looking for a live audience to be filmed during the climax of each show – the popular catwalk. With the runway located on the lower floor of Bullring, just outside Debenhams, any aspiring fashionistas or die-hard Gok fans can secure themselves a spot in the crowd with the hope of being caught on film.

“I’m so excited about revealing my gorgeous girls and their fabulous new looks,” said Gok. “And for the first time we have a guy – I can’t wait to get them on to the catwalk at Bullring; we’re hoping for a really big crowd to give them all their support on the big day.”
