We hear that Cheryl Cole – the fashion darling of the tabloids – celebrated her birthday in style yesterday (July 1) right here in Birmingham.

The X Factor lovely was in the city for the auditions round of the new series, alongside her showbiz pals Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue, Louis Walsh and the gorgeous Holly Willoughby.

And my, she looked every bit the fashionista as she walked into the ICC wearing a purple, structured military shirt, burnt orange, bum-skimming mini and towering Christian Louboutin heels.
