The smell of cloves, the taste of mulled wine and mince pies …. the Christmas spirit comes to the Mailbox this month as Harvey Nichols brings the traditional festive fete bang up to date.

The stylish store is hosting the gourmet event in its new “pop-up” gift shop on Monday November 30. Ticket-holders will get the chance to enjoy the finest food and wine, create bespoke hampers and get their gift buying sorted.

A host of specialist suppliers from across the country will be on hand offering samples and advice on dining ideas, and there will also be the chance to win a stunning own-brand hamper.

The evening, which runs from 6pm-9pm, will see an appearance from the Fancy Nancy cake company, who will be hosting a masterclass on how to decorate seasonal cookies.

Tickets for the festive fete are complimentary and limited spaces for the Fancy Nancy session will be offered on a first come first served basis.
