COCKTAIL CLASSES AT BODEGA
To help celebrate Style Birmingham Live this year, Bitters ‘n’ Twisted is holding a very stylish and totally free Cocktail Masterclass at Bodega on Bennetts Hill. The experienced mixologists will show ticket holders how to wow their friends by teaching them to make some of their best and most delicious drinks.
The 30min Cocktail Masterclasses will be held every hour, on the hour on Saturday 13.00-18.00 (last session) and Sunday 13.00-16.00 (last session)
They’ll also be offering all customers the chance to sample the official ‘Style Birmingham LIVE’ Serotina Cocktail which can be purchased at the bar. Bodega gave us a sneak preview of how to make the super stylish drink:
Ingredients:
. 25ml Bombay Sapphire
. 15ml Apple Schnapps
. 5ml Crème de Cassis
. 25ml Lemon juice
. 5ml Gomme
. Teaspoon of black cherry conserve
Method:
Add all the ingredients together in a cocktail shaker (or a jam jar, if you don’t have one). Shake the ingredients together for about 10 seconds and then fine strain over cubed ice into a short ‘rocks’ glass. Finally, add a garnish to make it stylish: a fresh sprig of mint and a cherry does the trick. Sit back and enjoy whilst looking super chic!
