In fact Halston Heritage is so cool that none other than Sarah Jessica Parker has joined its creative team … quite some coup! And with hot Brit designer Marios Schwab at the helm, it’s easy to see why the collections are fast becoming the celebrity must-have de jour.
The uber-hip brand was launched last year as a diffusion line by legendary American favourite Halston. For SS10, the clothes cleverly evoke the heyday of Studio 54 glamour, reinventing classic archive pieces with modern, elegant silhouettes. Retro chic comes to the fore with asymmetric dresses, silk jumpsuits and floor-sweeping maxis – and of course, there’s plenty of lurex!
